I have been constructing this web site since late 1996, primarily for use by my students in international economics courses at GW and at the Cornell in Washington program. The main feature is an international trade textbook or "web text" which I have used as a substitute for a traditional textbook since Spring 1997. Students have been extremely receptive to this new technology, in part, because it saves them from purchasing a $65 to $80 textbook.

Other features at the site include links to current international trade news stories, a site devoted to the issue of fairness in international trade, preliminary notes for an international finance webtext, and much more.

My hope is that this site will be useful for students and professionals interested in keeping up-to-date on international economic issues. Stay tuned for future developments since this site will be continually updated, expanded and improved.
