Below is a list of selected syllabi from courses I have offered recently at the George Washiongton University.


Econ 182 - International Finance Theory and Policy - Spring 2008
This is an undergraduate course that presents economic theories to foster understanding of the interrelationships of economic aggregates such as GDP, unemployment, inflation, exchange rates and trade balances. The course applies these models to understand the effects of fiscal, monetary and exchange rate policies.

Econ 283 - International Trade Theory and Policy - 2008
This MA-level course covers international trade theory and policy analysis, including the the theory of comparative advantage, the Heckscher-Ohlin model and the economic effects of tariffs, quotas and export subsidies.


Econ 180 - Survey of International Economics - Fall 2007
This is a one semester undergraduate course that introduces the most important lessons in international trade AND international finance theory and policy.

Econ 280 - Survey of International Economics - Fall 2007
This is a one semester MA-level course that introduces the most important lessons in international trade AND international finance theory and policy.


Econ 195 - Economics of the WTO - Spring 2007
This is an undergraduate course that covers the economic and legal aspects of the World Trade Organization.
